The first MP3 from the 'Imagine Our Love' album has been posted, just on the Matablog for now:

I love everything about the song, from her reassuring voice to th vanshing bass synth parts. The whole thing is wonderful.

Yeah, it looks like Jack Dylan did it.
Ron, the drummer of LD has a bunch of his cartoon work up at an art studio in LA.. Good stuff.

this is great, really great. i've been really excited about this album for a long time, and this song is only fueling things even more.
the production (esp. the strings) is different from what i expected, and much richer - can't wait to hear the rest of the LP. i bet "like an arrow" absolutely kills.
Fucking brilliant.
Are there any plans to reissue the first record? Has anyone heard it? Worth going ebay-crazy for?

yeah, i've heard it - it's good but probably not worth going crazy over. it's much more spare than the LD stuff - just becky stark, i believe. some great highlights, but not as consistently memorable IMO.
