That poster is fantastic!
Looking forward to seeing Indian Jewelry in Dublin soon.
Hopefully we'll get some Lavender Diamond dates here shortly. Was really bummed the show at Crawdaddy was pulled last year :(
I'm really looking forward to this one.. I love the Red Kat! I've seen a couple plays and a bad Gun Club Documentary there.

Wow... Incredible show
Details????
Details????
It totally exceeded my expectations.. I've seen them play so many times, but never like this... They sounded great, the orchestra was amazing. They played the new album I believe, in it's entirety.. Plus "You Broke My Heart". I guess they hadn't rehearsed with the orchestra yet, so they were hearing it for the first time as they played it, and Becky seemed like she was in awe after every song. Devon Williams was filling in for Jeff Rosenberg on guitar for some reason... And apparently he's doing the US tour with them too...
But yeah.. incredible.

You Broke My Heart (LD only)
The band didn't leave the stage before performing the encore song 'You Broke My Heart' (it was easier not to), but Becky intro'd 'Bring Me A Song' as their last song, they took bows after performing it, got a standing ovation etc.

Had to chime in as well, show was awesome. The orchestration was just brilliant. After seeing them perform as a four-piece so often it was really great to be able to appreciate the added depth the orchestration gave. Garden Rose remains a favorite of mine.
Becky was a little nervous: first time with an orchestra. But she did beautifully, as you'd expect. Her voice was on fine form.
Devon seemed nervous too, which is understandable given it was his first performance with the band. He did well, it'll be good to see them at the end of tour when he'll be more confident and more forceful with his guitar parts. (I missed Jeff esp. for the harmonies.) Becky and Devon kept giving loads of grins and smiles to each other, that was cute.
It was a bit odd being seated during a song like Open Your Heart, I just wanted to jump up and bounce around with joy.
Clips have already turned up on YouTube, it also looked like there was some taping (audio/video) in an official capacity too. Patrick, the show would make a great bonus to entice people to actually buy the album and not rip it off, hint hint.

Support band Indian Jewelry deserve a major shout out too. Awesome performance. Great contrast to LD. It's been a long time since I've seen a noise band so good. Great use of moog-type thing to create these huge throbbing rhythms, so the drums become more percussion, and great slabs of guitar on top, buried vocals. I had trouble walking afterwards. When they started with the strobe, the music shifted to fit perfectly: it started to sound like the guitar was cutting in an out in time to the strobe: a great audio-visual sensory experience.
