paul? The domain name expired last December and we finally let it die. RIP

it had the dubious honor of being the midwife that brought me into the mixed up world of internet message boards. I don't know whether to thank it or curse it, but regardless, here I am.
RIP, FMBB.

the beebs' wikipedia entry gets hacked on a fairly regular and often hilarious basis.

actually, there are several wiki-vandals for that particular entry. i know of at least two others. and yes, dom is a douchebag but a douchebag with a sense of humor.

Damn!
I'm taking a year off teaching to see more shows and generally reinvest myself into the music scene. I was going straight to the FMBB to get back back into the groove of finding out about new music from some place other than the radio. I miss my youth, and I was counting on you guys help me get it back!
Paul, Joseph, Anagramma...Hello! Please direct me to some of the other forums you guys post on. I'll be seein' ya!

paul's still around here i think.
The FMBB started 10 years ago today. Surely we wasted our lives. Although:
* Tinobeat started a record label;
* J. Smartkin started a record label with an album featuring production work by Rick Rubin and Fred Durst, and also became a published author;
* Paul parlayed all his time spent on the Internet into learning how to create state of the art websites before finding fame as the man in the goatse picture;
* Otto Midnight and myself created the first MP3blog, which in turn brought fame and glory upon a fat New York-based Pavement bootlegger who promptly swiped the idea and promoted himself to a level of sub-promotions company flack, which in turned allowed him to move out of his parents' place;
* Beav and Kasia are happily married with 3 kids;
* Lungbutter sales plummetted without a place for their fans to discuss their every move. Some people blame downloading; most blame Brad78.

The Dunhills keep me in contact, intimately, with lungbutter.

whatever happened to Brad78? I used to trade mixtapes with that guy all the time, and then he kinda disappeared...

he's probably off somewhere, dreaming about his parents.

Fucking hell, I just woke up (with a screaming headache, no less) and remembered that I forgot that the FMBB turned ten this year. And then I see a fucking post from Gruvlicius from last year! I was sure that girl had died of AIDS-related illnesses by now...
Anyway, ten years...what a waste...
