Will the packaging for the new album be similar to the Japanese pressing? The inserts on the Japanese pressing are printed on silver metallic paper. Will the vinyl pressing of the album have the same packaging? I will more than likely buy the vinyl but knowing the cover will be special gives me more incentive to go out and get it the first day it's out.

Our new album "Happy Songs For Happy People" is due for release on the 9th of June. Its going to be shiny, inside and out. mmmm

sounds like there will be silver covers everywhere.

That's what the japanese pressing looks ilke, by the way, just in case someone doesn't know what this is all about (spoiler warning - you'll ruin your surprise by clicking this link):

hmm, and I was under the impression that the album was going to be digi-pak... I wonder if just the Japanese version is jewel-cased?

It is _extremely_ shiny silver throughout, on the LP and the CD. The CD is jewelcase, but all the paper inside is the high-gloss foil.

Watch out for fingerprints with this baby - once they get on, it's tough to get them off!
