I bought all three: Alien Soundtracks, Half Machine Lip Moves and Third from the Sun, even though I already have everything on vinyl.
I popped TftS into the CD player this morning and discovered that it was mastered by an idiot.
The first track, "Firebomb," segues directly into the next, "Future Ghosts," right?
You know how a lot of CD burning programs put an automatic two second gap between tracks unless you tell them to do otherwise?
Apparently whoever assembled the remaster forgot to turn off the gap generator. :mad:
Luckily, the other two are still shrinkwrapped and they are going back to the store, pronto!
