I think I've finally settled on a format I can sustain interest in (after starting and abandoning about 26 different blogs in the last 7 years). Hallmonitor (http://www.hallmonitor.org/blog/) returns as an "album art review & repository." The anonymity (and the use of the royal we) in the posts is intentional, because I'll eventually be soliciting friends for occasional posts as well.

Anyone else around here running a blog I don't know about? I know several MBBers were doing it at one point, but all the ones I knew about are no longer maintained.

nice, looks great! i love the cover of 'the biz.'

we'd like to revive one louder at some point, hopefully soon, but we're both really busy and not feeling motivated enough about it these days. but at some point, it will be back...

'the biz' is a great cover (though I'm not a fan of the band). I wonder if the resemblance to David Stone Martin's covers for Charlie Parker is deliberate.

I know the S&C guys are jazzheads, so it's possible. And The Biz could totally have been inspired by this one, at least in spirit:

cool update, paul.

you duders need to bring back one louder. enjoyed getting the daily local (and contributing) take.

fiona contributes to the wirewool (http://thewirewool.blogspot.com/). she's probably too modest, or too busy shopping, to say so.

I love the layout of your site, Paul. And my wife, who works for a web marketing and design firm, was impressed. Nice job.

Cool idea, all around, and nice execution.
