Wow, Gerard. All the NYC bands have been breaking in London before the do in US lately, and you haven't heard of them? You must be busy with that cricket tourney.

now i'm not quite sure what the hell cox is trying to say there but the cricket reference did not escape my attention! gerard, would you care to elaborate? do you play? perhaps your position is square leg.... or was that a proposed name for terror twilight?

at first i didn't think that this question deserved a thread all of its own. but all the threads that gerard has posted in are closed for some reason!!!

maybe he doesn't read nme. isn't that how american artists break big there? and why do people make a big deal about bands breaking big in england. it's basically one city. and i seriously doubt farmers in rural areas are listening to the latest from malkmus or the magnetic fields or something. it's not that difficult to being big or at least seeming like you're big in england, having a blitkrieg of press in england means you are on the cover of nme, which i doubt is very difficult and being in at least one other magazine there or at least being namedropped by thom yorke. that's about it.
