there's a boy george song - love is leaving with that lyric, or maybe the crown which is a stevie wonder(maybe?) song. the boy george one has lyrics that kinda "fit" chan's ouevre. She has covered a lot of songs and made many of them sound way different. the pavement, VU and smog covers are my favorites.

the witness song is a cover of marvin gaye. She did that at bush hall :) anywhere else? Anyone know the song where she talks about lots of kids and there ages? ith a refrain of "he was just...years old" ?

This song she sang at bush hall is called "sad, sad song", by M. Ward and will be on his next album, probably to be released sometime this year.

U can find live versions, one by Marshall and one by Ward on the net, and I tell u, his is better, tho I love Chan's.
