just got back from the leeds gig and i'm still grinning. was the first time I've seen them and i'm amazed three people can do so much. amazing.

anyway, I was wondering, the keyboards they played: the one on the absolute left of the stage (audience perspective) - the one Ira played during Nuclear War - anyone know what it is? Is it a Farfisa? It runs in my mind that that's what a farfisa sounds like. anyone any info?

cheers

hello...I went to the Leeds gig too and loved it...except for the ass in the upper left balcony yelling things like, "drummer lady, you rock!". It looked as though his 20oz of Stella was about to pour on James's head! I think the organ you might be talking about is the Ace Tone, which is what Roland used to be...again, I'm not sure if that's right but check it out online. I too find it bizarre that they can create such a big sound at will and then such a rich and subtle sound with only three people. Their live sound is just gorgeous. I was gonna ask you what you thought about the energy of that room...I thought it was kinda weird....I mean, everyone was sitting down and no one seemed to be rocking...just sitting there with their hands folded in their laps. It was also very quiet.
