Did anyone else make it to this show? I went and it was loads of fun, although it never seemed like they got the sound levels quite right. Anyway, the band joked around with the crowd a lot, took requests that they didn't play (which was actually pretty funny: "Yeah, okay, we'll do "Eye of the Tiger". That sounds good. This one is "Mystery Hours".) and I think that Kurt Dahle was a little drunk, but totally with it. I never noticed it before, but he is a really stupendous drummer.

Not to mention The Lonesome Organist, an opening act, who was an absolute blast to see live. I don't know that I like him enough to own his albums, but I'd drive up to see him again in no time.

I'm bummed that I missed GBV and NP since I was in the DC area this past weekend.

On another note, the Black Cat is a great place for a show.
