Question About Preordering

If I preorder the new Jicks album would it get to my house on the release date or earlier? You know like the S&E reissue? I know this is probably a stupid question but I was just wanting to know. Thanks.

We aim to get it there by street date - if you are lucky it might arrive a day or two earlier.

It's probably a better idea to find out which of your local record stores is used as a "chart" store and buy the album from there.
Not only are you gonna add a sale but the store is most likely going to buy another copy off matador to replace the copy you bought.

I live in Knoxville, and most of the music stores around here are terrible about getting new music out the day it comes. It seems like they all only order one copy of each "non mainstream" album per week. Like last week I spent forever looking around trying to find the new Nada Surf. I'll look ask around though and see if someone can guarantee me a copy somewhere.
