cat power = poetry?

this is a little off topic, but....

i'm a features writer for HQ magazine, a literary/long-form features mag out of Sydney. i'm writing a feature on musician Cat Power (Chan Marshall) and i'm looking for an author/poet/academic/commentator who is a fan... anyone to comment on her lyrics as poetry etc. does anyone have any leads they can help me with? anyone heard of any catpower fans in the literary world?
