What other non-label related music forums are out there? How do you rate them? For similar types of music as discussed here...

if you look at the bottom of the main matador board page, there's a link to the Fake Matador Bulletin Board (http://forum.onecenter.com/fmbb), where some similar music is discussed, peppered in with a lotta shit talkin and other fun. It also links to many other related forums.

Agreed. Much like a mangy old dog, the FMBB licks balls.

Anywho, to answer the original question, I recently found the following bulletin board and it has given me countless (well, maybe just three) hours of entertainment:

Hmm. That sounds like it may also like some donkey balls as well. It's a toss up.
nope not balls, has a good section for gear related section which is great for geeky techs like me.
kind of agree about the fake matador site. had already checked that one out.
thanks by the way...

Sorry if I led you astray...I stumbled upon that last one at random this afternoon and enjoyed it a great deal, but then I've always been kinda fascinated by websites devoted to the art of dressing up as anime characters.
You might enjoy this board:

pitchfork forum
thanks joseph... but i'm starting to get a little worried about how many forums you know about...
pitchfork?!? oh boy....
I use www.m11music.co.uk for my local music scene, in the UK, although most of it will be useless to you lot, there is some great inane chat (almost as good as the mars bars chat) and also some general music chat.
never useless but perhaps incomprehensible, and hey sometimes that can be fun
True actually, you can check out all the odd names of local bands by where I live such as Whitecat and Somerset West...

I have a lot of free time on my hands. Free time and blood (I perform abortions for a living...ironic that I make a living at someone else's dying...).

You may want to try the Saddle Creek Webboard (http://www.saddle-creek.com/webboard/) -- both music and non-music discussions...
