with band or solo?

Cat Power is playing 2 shows in Melbourne - solo at a theatre and with band at a pub. I can only afford to go to one. Any suggestions?

I'd go for solo. From what I've read the band are more of a distraction! I've only seen her once, and it was solo, and it was FAB.

I'd actually say w/ band...because Chan almost always plays half the set solo anyway..plus sometimes the band keeps her from rambling too much
