This was my fake name in high school, and coincidently I started boarding (over seven years ago  ) on the old Disc.Server board in high school so I used this name and then for some awful reason I kept it when registering here. My fondest RMBB-related wish is to not have this goddawful username... But such is life.
tinobeat

Since high school I'd gone by "tino" with certain friends (Martin > Martino > tino). One day I was thinking of clever/stupid "solo project" names for shits n giggles and was listening to Unrest. Looking at the Teenbeat logo, I thought "man, 'Tinobeat' would be a SUPER stupid solo project name for me!"
I played two horrible shows as Tinobeat (one of them with Mark Robinson, too! we never discussed it), stopped playing solo acoustic shows cos they're for the birds, and the name stayed on as an internerd thing alone.
Brushback

Brushback was the name of a fanzine that I did back in the '90s. As some of you will know from experience, other people start calling you by the name of your band or the name of your zine... so when I'd walk into a room or something, people started greeting me with, "Hey, Brushback."

Pizza Gratis is the name of the recording project I started back at high school. At the time, thought it was clever, like as a way of getting unwitting people to go to shows I nught be playing at...oy...

My parents gave me my username... it was a way to piss off both the English and the Jewish sides of my family.

Spion Kop

The Spion Kop is a football stand at the football team I support Liverpool FC. It was christened as the Spion Kop by Ernest Jones in memory of the many scousers who died in battle over a hill in South Africa by the same name during the Boer War.
