Don't worship those other two false Listening Post gods, this here one is where all the cool hip kids are doing their thing!
Violent Femmes: Kiss Off
Live bootleg CD from '84...sweeeeet...
Rocket from the Crypt b-sides tape I made for myself
James Hetfield likes this band and so should you.
The Hot Snakes: Suicide Invoice
This is on the b-sides of my RftC b-sides tape.
The Ramones: Solid Gold - Easy Action
Another live bootleg CD, this one from '92...this band also has the James Hetfield Seal of Approval -- Metallica covered one of their songs.
The Pixies: Gone To Heaven
Live bootleg from '91. Dunno how James Hetfield feels about this band.
The Cows: Sexy Pee Story
Forgive me. [Braces for oncoming onslaught from Funk.]

Joseph my good man, all the coolest and hippest kids know that when you put down the "Pixies" as a title, you should write it just as "Pixies". You have just lost several hundred scene points....
BTW, check out www.frankblack.net for a tasty new FB tribute album (free for download!) and news and views on all things FB and Pixies related. Also a new Pixies tribute coming soon..... and my plug is done. Return to your normal daily activities. Thank you.

FUCK! [Um, okay, all is not lost, Joseph...just keep it together, man...]
Hey, has anyone heard Witch's Tit? They're an awesome Dutch "dm" band that like nobody has ever heard of, except cool people who know who Sonic Youth is...

Well, there's ten points right there! And an extra ten for "yr."
Ever spent over one hundred dollars on a rare out-of-print LP or forty dollars on a bootleg CD? That's ten more points right there! Have you ever bought an Adventures of Pete and Pete video offa eBay? Twenty points! Do you know all the lyrics to the Saved by the Bell theme song? Five points! Do you own Thurston Moore's solo album, Psychic Hearts? Sorry, you lose fifty points.

Heh, heh. I'm so indie/uncool that I own that album on freakin' cassette! Just listened to some of it yesterday. It's OK.

"Scene points" reminds me of "kitsch val," 1 being the kitschiest on a 10 point scale.

The only CD I've really felt like listening to over the past couple days is Stars - Nightsongs. Maybe I'll pull out something different tonight, I don't know.
