Sorry, the release date has in fact been pushed back to May 6.

trust me, trust me, we feel the same way!!!

In fact, Matador is the king of on-time releases (and simultaneous vinyl and CD releases)... The Earles & Jensen album is the first record to be bumped since before we did the Beggars deal, which is 5 1/2 years ago (and it was probably some time before that too, hmm, have to research that one).

Of course E&J has suffered the indignity of being bumped TWICE. But I promise you it will be worth the wait. This record will light up your life.

SNAP! You are so right. Man, was that a nightmare getting those damn etchings cut. Albums, though, I'll stand by my claim.

All the E&J pre-orders went out early last week, so most of them should have gotten to you days ago. Johansen, can you email me at dean@matadordirect.com and give me your order info? We don't have tracking for now but I'll try to get to the bottom of what happened- I want to make sure you can enjoy the cd as soon as possible

I pulled a miserable all-nighter last nite and midway through the walk to school, got soaked without an umbrella by a torrential downpour. To put it mildly, I was having a total shit day and was in desperate need for comedy. God works in mysterious ways, as this showed up in my mailbox today when I needed it most.
