Are all the 7"s getting a release over here so? It would be great if where there are different known release dates for the UK/Ireland or rest of the world, those dates could also be posted! Where only one date is posted for album releases I tend to make the assumption that it's global, or say in the case of these limited 7"s that they're only being made available in the US. Would remove some of the guesswork.
And yes, deadly sleeve!

matador site says preorders will not be taken for painted shut. That uh.... sucks!!! I thought it would have taken until AT LEAST the 4th 7" for matador to incite knife fights on the street.

Will there at least be web orders?

Preorders will be taken... just not yet.

[EDIT] Oh, I get it... yes, web orders, but not preorders. Just like for single #1. Keep your eyes peeled on this board for when we start taking orders.

are we ever going to hear HOW limited these 7"s are? i feel bad buying multiple copies if there are thousands out there. what number is considered "extremely" limited?

Patrick

Extremely is merely relative in the case of these first two singles - quite a few have been pressed, but they are not enough to satisfy demand. By the time we get to single #6, "extremely" will be absolute.

This 7" is really, really good. Two of the best songs I've heard in '08.
