I like it a lot, but then I like the 12" a lot too. Paul, do Fucked Up's screamy/shouty vocals put you off in general, or is it just this song?

My first reaction was wow, the "screamy part" comes in a lot earlier in this edit, then I realised it's just about the same (in relation to the female vox). Probably just because I'm used to the x5 version.

Does anyone feel the vocals are cut off a little awkwardly at the end?

I don't normally like the screamy vocal style in a lot of hardcore, but I think it works with FU.

I think the music the vocals is so good that it keeps them from getting irritating.

I don't mind it in hardcore, because it just kind goes. But in this case, it ruins a rather great song for no justifiable reason.

It'll be interesting to hear what you guys think of the full 18-minute version... each edit is pretty selective, so you only get a couple of bits in this one.

If it's exactly the same as the WYR 12", I'll be very disappointed if most people here don't think it's anything less than AMAZING. It's epic.

The opening full-length version on the CDEP is identical to the version on the 12".
