VHS tapes?
You better believe it! Only around 40% of studio films have been released on DVD and anything made before/around ~1953 is safe to watch on VHS. ILL is an amazing way to track down films that haven't made their way to DVD yet without paying ridiculous costs for out of print tapes.

Pretty busy at work, didn't have anything smart to add to existing threads (do I ever, though?), checked in hoping there'd be people talking about new stuff, there wasn't, so I, you know, worked. ho hum...

Watched the first two episodes of Dexter Season 1, am stewing some burgoo for derby day tomorrow, and am now going to have a late night date with my xbox 360 til the timer goes off and I can take the stew off.
Its like the Currently Watching, Food & Wine and WTF threads all in one!

Haha! What IS burgoo anyway? Is it related to purloo?

Burgoo is a kind of "whatever you got around" stew that's big in Kentucky. The variation I made has beef, pork, and chicken thighs and poblano peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, and butter beans, started in the dutch oven on the stove, finished with 4 and a half hours in a 350 degree oven. delicious!

Yesterday? Went shopping and bought a beautiful lamp and two gorgeous light fittings, visited the hairdresser, met my sister for dinner and watched lambs, calves, foals and bunny wabbits frolic in the fields, with cherry blossoms, gorse and bluebells in bloom under a sunny, clear blue sky whilst listening to Camera Obscura. Happy days.
Today? COME ON!!! (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/8030912.stm)*
