she played at the Estrojam here in Chicago over the weekend with her band.
overall, it was a good show. most all the songs, besides the covers, were from You are Free. they ended the show with a R&B-ish groove and chan walking with the mic into the crowd, sitting with everyone on the floor and signing lines from a handful of different songs(Try Me, These Arms of Mine,I've Been Loving You).

Will continue to post that its a version of I've Been Loving You To Long by Otis Redding until people pay attention.
I mean its not like hes obscure or anything.

The last song she plays is 'I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)' by Otis Redding. I know its a really mixed up version but it is recognisable.

i am well aware of the song.
at the chicago show, she started out the last song by singing a few lines from Try Me, then a few lines from These Arms of Mine(otis redding as well), and then I've Been Loving You Too Long, and then some other misc lines, and then ended the song singing, "fuck the pain away."

Hey, only reading this thread did I recall some of the song she performed last here in Dublin - it was Try Me, definitely the best thing about that evening. This is probably a dumb question but who's the original by? Thank you.
