catpower Sydney show 2010??

I noticed that Catpower are playing at the "Days like This" festival in sydney Jan 2010. Are there any plans for Catpower to play their own solo show???? I know lots of people who would love to see Catpower again, but like me, might not be so keen on the festival as the line-up isn't so great.

all i know about the january 2010 shows is that she is playing with the dirty delta blues band, yet again. and even though i'm in spain and i can't even think about seeing her live, it broke my heart. nobody can demand an artist to do what they want them to do, but i'd kill to see her moving on and playing a solo show again with HER OWN material...

Sigh. I'm glad that Chan has evolved over time (bands that sound the same every year just aren't good), and I'm glad she's feeling better about herself, but I think her adventures with the DDBB need to come to an end.

It's nice listening to Moonshiner then Cross Bones Style then Shaking Paper then Lived In Bars and not having it get old, but I'm anxious for something new.

opps...i think people misunderstood what I meant coz I wasn't very clear. I am happy to see Chan in any form, playing by herself or with any band, I just wanted to know if she & the band are playing their own gig in Sydney(i.e. a time other than at the festival).

no, i didn't get it wrong, i just wanted to go on topic about the australian shows and tell the only info that i had about them which was that she is playing with the DDBB again :)

Panthers in Newcastle, and Waves in Towradgi (halfway between Bulli and Wollongong). That's as close to Sydney as they are getting. After the last Sydney show I wouldn't have any interest going to see this, unfortunately.
