In this dream I had last nite, I was at a Cat Power show and the Cat bit me, and blood started gushing out. What does that mean?

It means that your post should be deleted and that we should call the nearest authorities for your own safety.

This is a serious issue. In technical terms, it means that you are suffering from a rare case of lycanthropy, or, if you will, werewolfism. The bite of the cat signifies your flesh being sacrificed to vampires. Have you been sleeping naked on park benches lately? Have you had the urge to mark your territory in public places? You should have your temperature taken immediately.

the bite itself signifies aggression; a hurt from someone or something; fear of being hurt
it also depends if it was chan herself, dresses as a cat, was a cat, etc...if it was just herself, it could possibly mean that you're worried that you'll be dissapointed by their next show you go to...it could mean a lot of things...i need more deatails...

it means you had a dream about being bit by a cat and that everyone should get out of sigmunds ass.

Just teasing pony boy; I meant it quite literally:

Take a ride off a cliff into a deep ocean and return and give me some seashells or a tortoise made of torqoise and gold and
I will give you a basket of carrots and brush your mane!

What a spin out seeing someone else talk about S. Freud. Do u know much about Carl Jung? Such interesting stuff... I just got spun out at that so i thought i would say something...

The way i found out about the slip was when i typed an email which i fucked up some words...

"In conclution, some day we must take the time to "go off" together but not a word of "goin off" because it is unapparent and uncanny and other mis spellt words...

....again i say it... "He'll be but"
You got a mobile or do u not believe in such hipicritcal sociatical factorious posessions?"

Whatever?

Peace...

I particularly Jung's tale of SYNCHRONICITY (another big word ... and not just a record by The Police either!) and a certain PUDDING. But there is also Adler. And we musn't forget Viktor Frankl (the soul searcher).

Yes yes... good old Syncronicity! Have u read The Celestine Prophecy? By James Redfield! It is very out there and amazing... makes ya think why I engaged on the Freud thing and why we r now engaging in convo about it!!!

Know of Celestine Prophecybut haven't got around to reading it yet. Have you tried any of Mihalyi Csikszentmihalyi's books on Flow? I discovered him through pure synchronicity back in the late 80s. Actually that's how I discovered Cat Power also.

No. I have only seen the fig and date varieties. How do they get a liquid to stay inside without it becoming all mooshy and icky?

It is a matter of obscure physics. I can't go into the details right now. Juice newton received the nobel prize for her work in light and peanut butter wafer magnetism.

Our lives are somewhat balanced by Syncronicity, everything we do... not understanding the possibility of its significance to our future... if we even choose our future... there are so many possible reasons for our everyday existance that we are yet to be knowledgable for... (sorry, i cant spell, nor do i care!)

Read Celestine Prophecy as it relates some understanding of spirited life and shows its relivence in this material pollution we call society.

Since medievil times, (the fall of the churchmen) the lack of faith made humanity question the meaning of life and our existance on this earth... this lead to technology! Yet an important step in our evoloution, this created a more material faith in our lives. We could believe that what we "see" is real, what we "touch" is real, what we "hear" is real... yet is it??? What is real??? Are we ever so engaged that we may be fooled by our perseptions of "realism"??? Many people now rely on physical progress... we like nice things, other people will like these things. "I will be accepted, for mass society likes and can understand this simple material things!"
"My god, what would the community think?"

Chan probably doesnt care what she does on stage because if u dont like her or dont understand why she really plays, then why can we judge? When i met her, we talked about playing live and why we do it... (i am a musician, original tunes) i said, "its not really for the people!" She said, "well, yes it is" Me, "Its about sharing energys but being yourself on or off stage." Yes!" She said. Me, "I loved ur set because i could relate to it, it reminded me that i dont have to conform to everyone just to play music, i can still be me." She was wrapped... so was more so! Music should be written from the soul, and projected from the soul. I choose not to use such words as "industry" or "business"
in the same sentance as "music". Some things just dont go together in my heart!

What im saying is that, a lot of people are just saying, "the concert was shit", "i want my money back", "Im never buying another Cat Power album again!" Im saying, dont be so caught up in physical progress... money is material, who cares! If u would rather pay money to see something that isnt "real", then u would pay for a pop act... thats what pop is, simple music and easy to relate to... making it popular to many sorts of people...

Maybe Chan is like Andy Kaufman, the film "Man on the Moon"... at the start... "I did that for those folks, who wouldnt understand me, and dont even wanna try!"

I dont claim to have an answer, anyone who does is attracting despirate people in search of a fill to their insucurites or some sort of satisfaction to their dissapiontment...

As a part of this disfunctional society... I plea to us all to TRY to UNDERSTAND and BELIEVE!!!

Watch the skies... Peace!

Someone gave me the Celestine Prophecy book on tape and I threw it away. Maybe I shouldn't have. It just seemed like so much other new age fluff out there. One does not have the time to try everything, sadly! But then again, that too could have been fate you see.

I believe there is a greater reality in "beingness". We humans are merely humans. Our ability to translate periphreal information is limited to our understanding and evolution from the one vantage point. Whether there are other disconnected universes, or aliens, we may never know (watch the skies). Money of course is immaterial to the point. I believe in music, I believe in the spirit of love, I believe in good haircuts and nice people.

Very well said, except Celestine Prophecy was written in the 70's I think! You did say seemed! Well justified! I am only 19 but i talk to a lot of older people who are into it and into spirituality...

"Watch the skies" is exactly that... there are answers and questions out there... there is a possibility that everything is out there!

... music, spirit of love, good haircuts and good people aye? That sounds good to me... except i wanna grow plats down as my sidies and put colored beads on them... is that stretching the boundary of "good"?

Peace!

What's good in a haircut is whatever good feelings you get from having it. I judge it on the merits of the kind of blessings one receives with it. Achi aki, may the wind blow your hair into a thousand forms.

Amen my brother. The truth will make you see.

I was thikning of moving to Brisbane for grad school. Perhaps we can share our studies of the light over a glass of dingo urine.

Until that time.

Aronch

I would rather a glass of Merlot or beer... I havent seen any dingo's in Brisbane for awhile, the last time i did was about 4 years ago when i was in year 10... i ran after it yelling and didnt catch it... who wouldve thought?

Chase the dingo... do u ever wonder where it went or if in fact u are that dingo and i have chased u to hear?
I havent wondered that although I must have... other wise i wouldnt have typed it! Right? Its like saying, "have u ever imagined kissing someone of the same sex?" Once u answer the question, its a yes, this does not define the depth u have thought about it but does define ur answer...

Why am i typing thoughts, theyre just thoughts...

...my oj is getting warm... salty dog, whats that? and candyman on the end of the verse... what were ppl doin in 1924... smoking pot, drinkin oj, dingo piss, merlot... i gotta drink my oj!

I guess I could be the dingo. I am the year of the dog. My friends mom, who is also a psychic, said I had a little bit of the lone wolf in me and that the number 6 is special to me. Dingo has 5 letters in it, so if you can make the stretch...

Anyway, that's not why I like or offered Dingo urine to you.
Did you hear about the kangaroos overtaking a military base in Australia? I thought that was kind of neat. but theyre probably dead and slaughtered by now. I'm just waiting for Patrick to shut down our little tea party.

until then,

Thats spun out... 6 is my favourite number... always has been... no reasons why... that and 2 because 2 was my soccer number...

I never heard about the military thing... i live in oz too!

Who is Patrick???

silver_glider

Patrick is the list trainer/tamer.

Hey, was there a guy named Gary on your team by any chance?

Aronch
10-09-2003, 08:24 PM
Sometime there may have been a Gary on my team... I played for around 10 years! I never remember names... I do remeber a Gary but i dont remember what year... I wonder if he was no. 5?
Why?

Who is Gary???

silver_glider
10-09-2003, 09:03 PM
Cos, I thought there might be a number 5 Gary on your team. It seems I may have been right. But this Gary had sideburns and hairy arms and laughed like a dijeridoo.

Did you play for the Roos in '92? I think that year had some pretty interesting numbers/connections.

Aronch
10-12-2003, 07:37 AM
I was 8 years old in 1992... I was nothing but a little shit entering the world of 9 years old... and so on and so to now... i played for "the hawks"... we won... stuff!
